All Maintenance Works Representatives upon arrival to work sites, will (where possible) sign in with the Building owner or Manager and sign off when the job is completed. A through site inspection (Induction where required) and Hazard Identification inspection is completed to ensure risk assessment and management is done prior to work commencing (also known as 5x5)

Rest assured that to date Maintenance Works and its employees are covered by Public and Private Liability insurance up to $10,000,000....Not that we have ever needed it and are proud to be incident free and plan to keep it that way. From time to time specialist contractors are engaged to work along side our team and sub contracts are in place and additional individual insurance is also provided in these instances.

  • Maintenance Works vehicles are serviced regularly to ensure lowest possible emissions. All emission producing plant and vacuum filters are cleaned and serviced regularly.

CHEMICAL WASTE MANAGEMENT

  • All chemicals are stored safely, labelled correctly and the correct dilution procedures are followed strictly. Only Biodegradable cleaning solutions are used in cleaning processes in appropriate weather conditions. Stormwater drain filters are used where ever possible.

We offer hot and cold pressure washing & soft washing for residential and commercial building sites. Gutter & Drain Clearing

Gutters & drains are one of the most-used components of any plumbing system. Over time, this frequent use leads to clogs, blockages, and other problems. While smaller, relatively minor clogs can be effectively removed with the proper at-home techniques, all drains will require professional cleaning eventually.

Spider & Insect Control Treatments

With careful selection of treatment agents and the correct application methods, we do targeted exterior treatments to get rid of spiders that live outside, and reduce the food availability for vagrant feeders like White Tail spiders. For those living inside we treat selected areas to form a repellent barrier to keep spiders out.

We provide a detailed report after each of our inspections. Our property wash team also provides comprehensive reporting of issues picked up on, during the extensive deep cleaning of properties. Our working at heights technicians are all over it, and keep you up to date with issues discovered during maintenance works. Harness & Abseil work

Our expert technicians hold both national and international rope access qualifications, and carry out three monthly competency refresher training sessions to ensure everyone’s safety.

Covid

During the Covid out break Maintenance Works provided community outreach services free of charge to Councils, supermarkets medical facilities to do our bit. In the following years of covid times we have offered sanitisation fogging and surface cleaning to keep the virus at bay. As part of our health and safety we cover all Covid related requirements to ensure that all of our clients and staff are kept safe at all times.
